French start-up Prométhée Earth Intelligence, which plans to launch a constellation of Earth observation nanosatellites and provide emerging countries with the tools to make the most of their data, announced on Tuesday that it had raised a further 4.72 million euros in funding. The deal should enable the company, which was set up in early 2020, to launch its first satellite, ProtoMéthée, and finalize its digital analysis platform, which will cross-reference spatial and field data to provide easily interpretable data, CEO Olivier Piepsz tells AFP.
